Why nightly is enough

A contribution or expenditure does not become public when it happens. It becomes public when the campaign files the report that itemizes it, on APOC's schedule. Between deadlines, what changes is registrations, amendments, late filings, and, in the nine days before an election, 24-hour reports of contributions over $250. The nightly refresh picks up all of those the morning after they are filed.
